It has 862 properties with 126,086 rooms in 49 countries and territories as of December 31, 2019, including 81 managed properties with 15,678 rooms and 781 franchised properties with 110,406 rooms.


This Hilton Garden Inn Phoenix Airport North is located one mile from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport, with convenient access via Light Rail to the Convention Center and Arizona State University. This hotel’s location gives convenient access to the US Airways Center, Chase Field, and University of Phoenix Campus. Hilton Garden-Inn Phoenix Airport North hotel features a complimentary 24-hour airport shuttle, wired and wireless high-speed Internet, a full-service restaurant and lounge, meeting and event facilities, a business center, fitness center, and an outdoor pool.



In the late 1980s, the Hilton-Garden Inn brand started out as CrestHill by Hilton. Because the real estate market was slow, only four of the 25 hotels that were planned were built. Three of the original four hotels are still in the chain. They are in the cities of Lancaster, Southfield, and Valencia in California. The other hotel is now a Four Points. It is in Buffalo Grove, Illinois. The brand was relaunched as Hilton Garden Inn in 1990, and in about 25 years, it has grown from four hotels to more than 860 limited or select service properties.

The Hilton Garden Inn Leiden in the Netherlands opened in 2012 as the first Hilton Garden Inn outside of North America. It is on the Old Rhine River and has 173 rooms with all of the features that are typical of the brand.


Future Developments

The Hilton Garden-Inn brand is expanding internationally, with new hotels planned for the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, Germany, Romania, Namibia, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, and Poland, as well as in Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Busselton, the Faroe Islands, Hong Kong, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Turkey, India, Kenya, and Ireland. There will be a Hilton Garden Inn in Santa Marta, Colombia by 2016.
